Behold the first coloured instalment of A 1000 Days Like This. It took way longer than I expected, but not due to the colouring. Rather, I redrew the first panel three times. I also scrapped one of the panels entirely to help the comic flow. I'm not a perfectionist, but I need things to work well enough that they don't piss me off. If they don't irritate me, it's unlikely they'll irritate most people period.
That said and done, this comic should give you a bit of an idea about Tripuran fashions. Brook's very "up to date" with her fashions and the Clerical look is in. I hope to experiment some more between Brook and Sera. Tim'll showcase male fashion. Matt is unfortunately, NEVER in fashion. He's very "I don't care, piss off" about such things. Not that it's a good thing though. A lot of lead characters wind up with this attitude because they don't care. Matt has... other reasons. You'll see as the story progresses. I hope everyone's enjoying the comic.
Next week I'll be out of town and in Los Angeles. E3, the Electronic Entertainment Expo is running from Tuesday to Friday, which means I won't be available. I'll be with my fellow RPGFan staffers running around and interviewing developers. There WILL be a Thursday comic however. Will Rodriquez (Mangled Stare) has courteously accepted the duty of uploading the comic and all its essentials come Thursday while I'm at the show. He will also be taking over on that Saturday, seeing as I'll be far, far too tired. When I get back Saturday morning, I'll have about 4 hours to sleep, then I have to go to class until 3, and rehearse the rest of the day.
Jet lag, may ye be kind and merciful to this busy Soul.
